Prodigy at his best was much better than NAS at his best...but nas was able to stay more consistent throughout his career where prodigy fell off...but i think P is picking it back up and when he gets back his gona be better than nas again...that phone tap recording showed me that

prodigy has always had the best voice, which is what makes him so listenable. between 95 and 2000 he was unstoppable. nas sounded like he was trying too hard to sound like a gangster where p pulled it off more naturally on his tracks.

mega has always sounded shit. his rhymes are hot, and i respect him as an artist, but his voice irritates the fuck outa me. nature has always been average

Two different things. 2pac had subject matter. There are multiple ways to be lyrical, but 2pac early in his career wasn't just a gangster rapper. He was a lot more socially conscious and unlike prodigy, he could rhyme and change things up.

He also had emotion. You could hear what he was feeling, I listen to prodigy and it's the same shit on every track. To me, 2pac is so far beyond anything prodigy will ever do it's kind of a pointless comparison. It's like when Evidence from Dilated dissed Eminem. Sure the diss was better than anything Eminem could have thrown. Still doesn't change the fact that Evidence is a dull monotonous largely untalented dude.
