With one last breath in me I fufill my destiny
Long forgotten but not so dreadful I approach the gates with a handful
Of anvils, cursed tyrants expose the glorious
landscape peasants eat bread and the gods exchange handshakes
the ground breaks and the future is near,
a glimpse of hope is known but the enemy is fear.
They worship the sky for many years portrayed women and children slayed
bestowed amonst the innocent slaves, heads get chopped and the graves get topped up radioactive waste covers what once was the answer
frozen earth causes catastrophe but the outcome is minimal,
blind fakes that were once criminals laid to rest,
but my feet stay planted as the trees sway,
make way for hope as the days fade to my dismay
shattered dreams as my knees bleed,
sacrificed what I had left but it didnít add up get
shot by glocks the streets get torn up,
board up your homes and find cover
what was once worshipped but swept under the doormat
I react with steady hands outcry across the lands
plagued with disease when will the suffering end, someone help us please,
but the calls are not answered broken bodyís get no last chances,
rough cuts and formidable opponents left with no bone hips, I mean hip bones
case closed forever forget anything you remember busted teeth and death in November.

i can relate to this title of tough times so I peeped it. But I didn't feel like I felt your tough times. It seemed like you were just talking about tough times in general and not your own. And the flow kinda seemed poetic more than rap. I'd have to hear it on wax. Other than that, the words WERE painful and the style was as well.

This was dope, I'd LIke to see more usage of surreal imagery as opposed to the poetic simpler style

Really liked the following >>

"Long forgotten but not so dreadful I approach the gates with a handful
Of anvils, cursed tyrants expose the glorious
landscape peasants eat bread and the gods exchange handshakes"

"but the calls are not answered broken bodyís get no last chances,
rough cuts and formidable opponents left with no bone hips, I mean hip bones
case closed forever forget anything you remember busted teeth and death in November."
