Being that i'm not a producer/beatmaker i have no need to sample anything musically.

yet i listen to a lot of other music, and think "damn, this could be an ill sample" so im making this thread for all the producers/beatmakers to take the samples i find.

1. All files will be in .WAV for quality
2. I want to hear the completed beat
3. Feel free to add on with other samples (ie. ones you having troubles flipping)
4. Dont blame me if you dont like the sample, or think its too hard lol
5. All uploads will be full tracks as well, lets the producer do what they want and be creative and i cant do it lol
6. Somebody throw out a sample and be like "can you please freak these horns or this vocal bit" and then we all go at it. (as stated by Infinity)

awesome!!!!! I was just thinking on my way back home now about making a thread where ppl could just throw out samples and we could flip em to spec.like somebody throw out a sample and be like "can you please freak these horns or this vocal bit" and then we all go at it.

A better idea would be to have a pinned thread with one sample and everyone gets to flip it and we vote who flipped it the best. Winner picks the next sample.

GOD , that beat was sick but I wish the bass line was hummin against the track a lot harder.I turned the bass on my speakers all the way up and it still needed more. Don't expect the drums to sound anywhere near how you want them to sound for a hip hop beat right out of the box. Even the hip hop presets are crap. It took me hours and hours of tweaking to make 'm sound right. And not just the VST, but also the sidechain compressor on that channel. But once you get past that you have a very versatile set of drums that sound unique and never need any sample clearance on your drums.

The midi files that come with the program are off the hook, real good stuff.

That Earth and Fire record is great, never sampled anything from it tho.
But there's many different styles of stuff you could sample from that one.

Also, they have released an album called "Andromeda Girl", worth a check out !
I know there's a couple producers on this board that could make some tight bangers with those tracks.

being a beginner myself, im not sure if i am the right person to be commenting but the drums need work (i know the pain), they need a more consistent rhythm. but overall these arent bad, def room to improve tho. just keep it simple for now, it worked for me, and go from there.

yeah i feel u Bronze. drums are definitly my weakness at this point. that 1st beat, the one titled The Boss, i had the tempo set at 126 and didnt even realize it until after i got half way through and i dint want to change it cuz i knew id either fucj up on it or just confuse myself. now i set my tempo around 90 when i start a project. usinf FL for now. tryin to graduate to the big boy leagues soon and get some hardware. i still want to hear a banga made out of thst doris allen though. i know somebody here can flip it better than i did.

It's not quite as grimey hip hop as you'd expect, but that album called for alot more singing and complex melodies. If anyone cares for a challenge, try to sample that album, it varies in tempo, has key changes, and is just some far out shit.

I'm working on this BARIS MANCO shit next; thats turning out much more hip hop.
