Her music sucks but she can sing LOL. I don't like a lot of female singers anyway because their music is boring. En Vogue's first album is good and Janet Jackson's Control album is pretty good. Her Rhythm Nation album is alright.

i never really heard her but she can definitely sing...
thing is i cant stand 80s r&b beats or hardly anything musically from the 80s

you should try to work with some 80s samples might be interesting since you don't dig em.

haha sorry...nope. idk man, those 80s sounds are too....bright....poppy...i dont like the synths they use in the 80s. im not sure how else to describe them.
that first vid was maybe sample-able tho.
i remember downloading Prince's discography last year because i like to be familiar with all the music gods and i could barely find a single song i liked of his, deleted that folder a couple days later.
i love all the older school soul though, curtis, brown, minnie, dramatics ect ect almost as much as hip hop.

You might like Teenas first few albums mumm, they got that 70s soul hangover sound.

I just looked her up. How did I not know that she died? R.I.P. Anyone know if her recent albums were good?
