Really, whats wrong with y'all niggas. The album was fire..ok fire isnt a good word to use, how about very good. It wasnt a rap album but it was better than most r&b joints at the time. 9/10

I think it "is" fire. You gotta think about it, this LP came out in what, '98? and it can still make the damn speakers thump, make lovers swoon and still raise awareness. I mean, her vocals are as sharp as her lyrics, and the sound is timeless. You'll probably be able to play this shit years from now and still get the same effect you got the first time you heard it (if you're a true hip hop fan, that is).

IMO Lauryn Hill was, is and forever will be a hip hop icon.

my thoughts exactly :)

Final Hour and Every Ghetto, Every Cry were the only two songs I didn't like.
Besides those two, the entire thing is just insane

The 'Ice Cream' sample on I Used to Love Him was pretty smooth, too :p
