Most definitely copping this tomorrow. This album is tough and a half, Doom is the man, Dangermouse is the man, and Adult Swim is the shit. Master Shake is the man...

already d/led... but definitely will buy this, no doubt, it's too ill. ONE

10-10-2005, 12:42 PM
This is an ill cd. I downloaded it and im probably going to buy it as well. Theirs maybe one or songs I wasnt feeling, other then that, its a great album

10-10-2005, 01:43 PM
they got this shit at phat beats in NYC? (for those that know)

or does anyone know a legit site i can buy it from?

10-10-2005, 03:24 PM
hiphopsite.com you'll heopfully get a free 12" single or a mf doom mix.
I'm buying it at bestbuy, cuz it's suppose to be only $10.

10-11-2005, 03:12 AM
heard the snippets, afraid this is going to be boring like all of his other albums, vaudville villain put me to sleep, DOOM doesn't have enough energy in his voice

10-11-2005, 04:35 AM
this album is dope....but can't buy it, such albums don't make it here, they're too underground for that...

DOOM doesn't have enough energy in his voice
Doom ain't about voice, he's original and has maaaaad lyrics & beats...

10-11-2005, 05:33 AM
^^ I agree man, you got that right. Thats how it is with Doom and GZA. The appeal and their great skill comes with their creativity and lyrics. I could listen to either of them rap over any beat, it almost doesnt matter. Doom does make sick beats though. Dangermouse's production on Dangerdoom is amazing. I'm gotta rip that shit outta the mailbox and listen to it all right away. I downloaded about half of it and saved the other half to have something to look forward to. rynmur04 is right, bestbuy's website's got it for ten bucks. Cop that shit

I've only heard the Edited version, which is hella gay. but the beats and rhymes sound pretty dope. It should be a classic in the future...

10-11-2005, 06:08 PM

10-11-2005, 06:22 PM
im looking forward to this

10-12-2005, 05:47 AM
Yea theres only the edited version. That kinda blows. Oh well. That sucks that it hasnt come out for those of you in London yet.

10-12-2005, 05:56 AM
must have

10-12-2005, 07:20 AM
doom and danger mouse wanted the album to be edited (with some bleeps over curse words) in order to create a tv cartoon feeling for this album - that's true

10-12-2005, 10:55 AM
doom and danger mouse wanted the album to be edited (with some bleeps over curse words) in order to create a tv cartoon feeling for this album - that's trueAnd it's only on the first song anyway.

The version of Sofa King I downloaded in July has a different (and I think better) beat than the album version.
Co-sign... I was wondering if someone else would mention this. The album beat is pretty fucking ill still but it seems as though the lyrics fit better with the first beat...

Loving the album though - copped it today and it's flames.

10-13-2005, 10:30 AM
I just copped it too, it's really ill, best album in a long time. My only problem being that I'm from Denmark and we don't have adult swim, so i don't get many of the jokes... well, ill album nonetheless

10-13-2005, 01:13 PM
And it's only on the first song anyway.
exactly... and i have absolutely no problem with it

10-13-2005, 02:18 PM
Bizzy Box is my favorite track off the album.

10-14-2005, 12:27 PM
This album's ridiculously good.

10-14-2005, 05:54 PM
Album is sick. Production was good, but I was expecting better.
