Downgrade the ipod touch OS

does anybody know how to downgrade the ipod back to the last OS 3 version before the 4.0 update? OS 4 is fuckin terrible and it got a lot of bugs.

download the firm ware you want your ipod to be on !
http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
then go to your itunes , where you ipod is , then hold shift and click restore , then use the ipod firmware you downloaded , if you need more help let me know !

did u upgrade to 4.1 it helps alot ...they are working on a fix for the 3g phones with software being buggy and laggy on the next update

i ment 4.0.1 ..and thats been out for a week or 2 think

thats the one they though that a fix on software could fix iphone 4 antenna probs ..also other fixes to older phones and ipods.....along with bigger serves bars

i got iphone 4...and i cant duplicate the probs some folk are having tho...but im still gonna get a free case
