peace claaa
that Assassins track looks dangerous, no doubt everyone is gonna come with their best, you got Royce and Jean Grae, Pharoahe Monche is under pressure to spit greater than usual and the same concept with the other 2

Not sure what to think about the Styles P, feature I'm not really a fan of Styles but its all good regardless, seems interesting too early too tell.

Can't fucking wait.

I Know Diamond D Produced "Shine" but who else has contributed to the production?

08-17-2010, 01:11 PM
^ Marco Polo and Illmind i believe. hopefully there's more than that one classy Diamond D collabo on there.

Really looking foward to this, i liked "Desire" but i think Pharoahe Monch is capable of a lot more that album showed. *bumps "Prisoners Of War" and listens to his amazing second verse*

Marco is one of the illest new producers I've heard, hes up there with Jake One.

Illmind is nice too

I think I saw a prduction rundown in an interview article or some shit.

Your usual Duck Down In-House production roster, Marco, Illmind, also I'm pretty sure there's a Khrysis beat somewhere in the mix.

Possibly a 9th Wonder beat as well, but don't quote me on that.

Idris Elba? I forgot he produced and rapped. That'll be interesting.

^ I didn't know he did either, and seeing how it's an intro skit it'll probably be spoken word.

He did the intro to American Gangster too if I'm not mistaken (by Jay-Z)

Idris Elba is one of my favorite actors. And when I found out he DJ'ed, produced and emcee'd I was so excited but I can't find any of his work online.

08-17-2010, 03:33 PM
^He is a pretty good actor!

I'm still upset they killed him off on The Wire

RIP Stringer.... that shit still gets me salty.

The final song should have the dude who played Avon, cuz that motherfucker's the dopest character in the history of TV

Been watchng the Wire producers new show Treme, its fucken awesome, cool music in it, same social commentary themes in there, its not as cool as The Wire, but its still good.

i didnt care much for desire either, there wasnt much actual rapping on it, too many big production numbers that detracted from his skills on the mic, that last 3 part song was more miss than hit, wasnt feelin it much at all,

I caught a few episodes. Not that into it though.

ill admit it made me a bit sleepy the first time I watched it, buit i stuck with it, love the music above all,

Treme is one of the best shows in TV history. Its just not on some hood shit like a big portion of The Wire, this turns some people off who are a fan of The Wire. Acting, directing, realism, music, you cant go wrong with Treme if you're looking for quality TV. Not for dumbfucks or the usual ADD TV watching crowd however.

I'll say it again, I was a big fan of Infernal Affairs, but it was a predictable Monch effort (even down to the collabs). Desire was a lot more artistic and progressive in my opinion. I'm hoping his newest effort is more in the vein of Desire than Infernal Affairs. But any new Monch is good to me.

This album is probably gonna be wack like Desire. Internal Affairs wasn't all that great either like his fans think it is. He got a few joints on Internal Affairs i like(Simon Says original version and remix, The Ass, The Light songs and i liked M.O.P. and Canibus lyrics on the songs they were on but i didn't like the beats to the songs they were on)but i didn't like any songs on Desire.
