I'm a Jada fan but never really listened to Cassidy that much, I can't really judge how that collab would turn out. I heard Pete Rock give Cassidy props before and I think Alchemist produced for him.
I remember BIG D O did a thread like this a couple months back, but I'll give my list:
Jeru The Damaja (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Jeru%20The%20Damaja) and Alchemist (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Alchemist)
Elzhi (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Elzhi) over posthumous Jay Dee (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Jay%20Dee) beats
Kool G Rap & Big Pun might be exciting for a master/student album with beats by Havoc, Domingo, Scram Jones, Buckwild and RZA (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Wu%20Tang%20Clan)
Pharoahe Monch (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Pharoahe%20Monch) and Sa Ra Creative Partners for a whole album would be interesting, as long as they give a good balance btwn the soul-funk fusion and dark beats.
El Da Sensei & Masta Ace with beats by Koolade from Croatia (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CCcQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.last.fm%2Fmusic%2FMasta%2BAce %2F_%2FBeautiful%2BProduced%2BBy%2BKoolade%2BCroat ia&ei=XfFrTMPGCsGBlAeQuNXpDw&usg=AFQjCNHh6V8W_K_Ol5vyLFjc79KtguiiXw). I wanted to hear that matchup ever since I heard Beautiful and Follow Me.
http://blogs.centrictv.com/music/soulsessions/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/roy-ayers-pete-rock.jpg
I would like to hear more albums where an MC or Producer collaborates with a famous 70's musician they and other people sampled heavily. The musician to ad onto the songs directly with their ideas/talent, mixed with the raw sound of Hip Hop:
Dr. Dre (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Dr.%20Dre) & George Clinton, any living member of Funkadelic or David Axelrod
Lord Finesse (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/D.I.T.C.) & Roy Ayers (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Roy%20Ayers) after I heard the beautiful sounds of Soul Plan. Either that or Quincy Jones.
Pete Rock (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/search/label/Pete%20Rock) & Roy Ayers, Herbie Hancock, Bob James or Loose Ends
RZA and Syl Johnson. I would've liked to here him and Isaac Hayes but he's no longer with us
A Tribe Called Quest & R.A.M.P. (Roy Ayers Music Project) (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CCcQtwIwBA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DYJP YqHl2RLI&ei=9PdrTPumFMGBlAfpw53rDw&usg=AFQjCNHNQZsfUyJ90bL5sGeDE2vWGisX0g)

Fabolous and Game - All the tracks they have together are heatrocks. Both of them are mostly gangsta rappers, but can also have some smooth tracks and shit. Would make a good ass Car CD. Throw some features in there and it's money.
Jadakiss and Styles P - These dudes are always rhyming together, but I'd love to see what they could do with a full album.
B-Real and Joell Ortiz - I feel like they would make a dope ass collaboration. Only thing is, I don't know if Ortiz smokes weed like that...
JR Writer and Cassidy - That's all I wanna hear after hearing "G.O.A.T." Their album would hit.
Ill Bill and Apathy - On some epic, sword-to-your-face type shit.
Blacastan and Sean Price - I feel like Sean P is gonna eat all of Guilty Simpson's verses on that Random Axe LP, and Blacastan has more of a chance of holding his own with Ruck.
Aesop Rock and Vast Aire - Would be a dope nerd-rap LP.

Thought of some more...
J. Cole and B.o.B (prod. by same) - The two of them controlling all aspects of the LP, from lyrics to beats. That track they had on B.o.b.'s mixtape was dope. I'd fuck with this even if it was just an EP or some shit.
Copywrite and Chino XL (prod. by RJD2) - Two of my favorite punchline emcees. I'd love to hear RJD2 and Copy collaborating again, and Chino has more versatility, which would push Copy to test himself as a lyricist.
Immortal Technique and Canibus (prod. by Stoupe) - On some epic conspiracy shit.
Mos Def and Jay Electronica (prod. by Just Blaze) - Mos and Jay Elec on their shit over Blaze production; what else do you need? Coming out in Febneverary 2076
Elzhi and Royce da 5'9" (prod. by Black Milk & Preemo) - This would, at this point, get me more excited than Bad Vs Evil. "Motown 25" is such an ill track, as are all of their collaborations. A whole album - with the two of them able to mess with concepts and shit - would be deadly.

Rock and Method Man (prod. by Marco Polo) - Some gutta shit. Both got ill flows and would sound dope over Marco Polo's production (said production also eradicates Tical's complete inability to pick good beats). Just call the LP "Meth Rock" or someshit and you got a winner.
Tame One and Redman (prod. by Erick Sermon) - Two of the best emcees the garden state has produced going back and forth over some fire ass beats. The inevitable song dedicated to weed would be amazing.
Max B and French Montana (prod. by whoever produces this shit on their mixtapes) - Free Max B!!
Masta Ace and Akrobatik (prod. by Illmind) - They'd make a classic. Guarantee it.
O.C. and Pharaohe Monch (prod. by Pete Rock) - Two of the most underrated all time doing their thang over beats by one of the GOATS on the boards.

This would be one of them albums you listen to in the fall/winter season that bring lasting images of harsh street reality. Production by 4th Disciple, D.I.T.C. (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/2010/02/video-ditc-1992-backstage-interview-in.html), Jake One (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/2010/08/video-jake-one-interview-on-grind-music.html), DJ Premier (http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/2010/08/audio-rhymefest-meets-dj-premier-2005.html) and Lil' Fame of M.O.P.
http://i40.tinypic.com/2nu3bx1.jpg
Dr. Dre & Ice Cube - Helter Skelter dark album, it was in the works for a minute but got shelved. I'd still like to hear something like that go down, Hip Hop with a gangsta/horrorcore twist like their single Natural Born Killa, or other dark Dre. productions like East Coast/West Coast Killaz and Phonetap.
Then put each pair of these new, so-called hot internet rappers that the media promotes in a booth together and let them kill themselves, because their watering down the game fast with sub par mic skills and a wack, borderline pop image.

Both of them can come with overtly humorous verses & punchlines, so I think they'd both be trying to 1-up each other to see who can say the craziest shit.

Smoothe Da Hustler & Big L for a whole album. This would be one hell of a match in NY street mentality, wittiness, sick punchlines and aggressive, street corner cypher jaw dropping delivery. Beats by DR Period, Buckwild, Bink!, DJ Premier, Showbiz and Just Blaze.
Both of them have a broad range in the type of songs they're capable of making, from straight dark lyrical cuts (Broken Language, Danger Zone, Murdafest) deep ghetto storytelling (Hustin', Street Struck) to more anthemic, party songs (Hustler's Theme, Put It On). I remember Big L had about 3 seconds in Smoothe's video for Broken Language. I think it would be a good NY album.

I wanna see a Beans, Freeway and Young Chris album.
A full Jim Jones/Max B album, but this will never happen.
Not 2 artists but 2 groups, AOTP & Rhyme Asylum doing an album would be sick.
After the 2 good tracks on Fornever, Murs & Kurupt would be nice.

^ That's why I suggested a Sean Price & Celph Titled album a few pages back.
They both have super witty punchlines and smooth, laid back flows.
It'd be a great fit.

what would you recommend by big caz? i've never heard of him.
he's an artist out of south central la, that's affiliated wit and owns the mo thugs label that was linked wit bone thugs
if you like that authentic street shit from a southern cali perpective then big caz represents
but he is kinda proper underground, so he releases are hard to find plus he took a break from the game, i can't think of which albums or tunes to recommend because i can't remember the names of em right now, but he's back on the scene and his new product sounds sick, try youtubing that brother

yeah that connection is gonna make sense when it drops, banner and 9th must be still cooking up that heat or sumthin, that potent piff if you get what i'm saying
@divine complex
yeah i doubt k-fed is still there, but if you know anything about that caz brother is that when it comes to this music game, he's all about this money, he's a gangster that can spit thats making money in the industry, he's not industry, it likes that saying, there industry, we're in the streets, thats caz right there, so him signing k-fed dosen't suprise me at all, he must have been thinking chi-king, chi-king, cash money, ha ha, ring them fucking cash tills, yes surr, ha ha, get some of that pop/big publicity long money for real like, you get me, ha ha

I gonna get some hate for this one, but fuck it...
Drake & Elzhi.
With production from 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Noah "40" Shebib, Black Milk, Kanye West, maybe even a Dilla beat.
And for guest features: Eminem, Royce Da 5'9", Phonte, K-OS, J. Cole, Jay-Z & Talib Kweli.
Elz used to bring Drake to St. Andrews Hall a lot when he was in the early stages of trying to get his music career started.
I think Elzhi's presence on the album would make Drake step his pen game up and get back to the shit he was doing before he started chasing mainstream success.
I think it would surprise a lot of peole who discount Drake.
