This is my personal top 15. Killah Priest and Redman are dope but i think these 15 are the best in rap history. BUT, if you have a different opinion, just post a hot lyric from them and yeah.

Word son...Killah Priest is ill, but that is my personal opinion and who i think are the GOATS of lyricism. Post some dope Killah Priest lines or bars, Lord Finnese has sick lyrics too.

It's criminal that I'm likely the only one that'll mention K-Rino in this thread. He is head a shoulders above most of the people posted here (who are all elite MCs as it stands). Every single one of his album is chalk full of very very great lyricism whether he's just spittin', telling stories, or going into one of his many conceptual tracks. Very well-rounded MC that is dope no matter what topic he's tackling. And to think...at about 50 years old he's still leaps and bounds above nearly everyone in the game.

And, even when I don't agree with all his philosophy I still enjoy all his tracks because his wordplay is sickening. Really, if you don't appreciate K-Rino's lyricism I'd say your not much of a hip-hop fan. He IS hip-hop.
