This guy shot this video FRESH out of prison in HD for a mixtape.

rappers have to work 100x harder then they used to and all wu members are too lazy to grasp this, which is ok, they're old, they should quit and stop killing their legacy.

This dude Gucci don't have the rap skill to beat a 4 year old kid in a battle. And you put him in the same sentence with Wu?Wu?No no.

For the most part, he's right. Rae, Ghost, and RZA do keep working but the other members seem content to release about 15 songs every two or three years. That's just not enough to stay relevant.

whats did all those mixtapes and street buzz get Gucci? about 90k first week? was alot of work for not much results

most of these guys are doing it just to stay relevant, no one in Wu needs to sell another copy of another album and their show fee stays the same. so theres really no incentive left in todays industry

MIxtapes are to increase album sales?
That doesn't make sense.

That burrprint 2HD mixtape sold more then most wu releases in the past 5 years.

Yeah they should work as hard as you do, I mean, 31k what seem to be pointless trolling posts in 5 years, that takes whole lot of work :)

um, yeah. keeps your name out there until the album drops, that was kind of the original intent of a mixtape. now its more common for guys to keep putting them out, in hopes of scoring a hit that gets radio play that leads to...more show money

Burrprint 2 sold 1/3rd of what Massacre did

regardless of what you crumbs think of GOOCHEE MAYNE

you know he's right

wu-tang is rap's biggest collection of dogfuckers right now. other than rae, nobody is doing anything!!! u-god is probably working at starbucks right now getting in beef on twitter with the only producers who will fuck with him, he just dropped his third album in 17 years of being in the game, we just got a half-ass performance from deck, masta killa just put out a live dvd (c'mon)

gza is making liquid swords 2, it's gonna take 5 years and will be a disappointment because neither him or rza have been able to capture the vibe of what made the first one so great

rza is doing anything he can to not touch rap. making surfing music for nike, kung-fu movies, he's making album throwaways for rae, deck, cormega, game, nas. nobody wants his beats anymore.

ghost and meth are always busy which is why they're the most well-known members - they actually do shit

don't even get me started on the killa bees either. priest is the only one doing anything and half of it sucks because of his inability to cut off woool. congrats to 60sec for releasing his first EP in 15 years.

razah can pump out more music in a coma than half these cats

frustrating being a wu fan in 2010

bring back wu-tang records, free killa sin, get dark skinned assassin on dust, handcuff RNS to an MPC and we can do the damn thing

It's like the Beatles broke up or something. Nobody is happy with the biggest collection of music any rap group has ever done? It's not enough?

whatever happens in the poly world of respect, we all know that wu is the best. the fact that the hip hop game has changed so much in the way that tissa built this thread around only secures the fact that wu will be the best that ever done it.

the timing for wu was immaculate.

if wu tang didnt let pride get in the way of things, they could make a ton of money doing retarded songs like this because this is what gets more airplay.

usually sticking to principles hurts your wallet.

i wouldnt call em lazy, they have put out a ton of shit especially Ghost.

tsa wraps his points in bullshit in order for you to smell him. he made a point but...

yeah after 18 years they have slowed down considerably. yeah the game is different, one cause the internet destroyed album sales so the tactics change, two cause the core hip hop audience was in diapers when the wu came out, including TSA so the tastes are diff.

plus they are all in their 40s. not quite prime condition. its like MJ on the wizards he's still a factor cause its MJ but nobody expected another title out of him, they just wanted to see him continue to play.
