how come this excellent album is rarely mentioned amongst the truly greats innovative late 60's-early 70's alt. rock albums. it might not be "Revolver", "Dark Side of the Moon", "Are You Experienced" or "Led Zeppelin II" but to me it's not far away at all. the fusion with classic music is just amazing, great and heartfelt vocals and most of the songs really grab the listener. for me this is an undoubtly (but overlooked) classic album. also how each of the 7 songs represent a part of the day with the amazing "Nights in White Satin" (which is one of my favorite records of all time) closes it is just....!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like this album very much, but Night in White Satin is one of the best songs ever. The rest of the album is just meh. It's lightyears behind a Dark Side of the Moon or in the Court of the Crimson King. There are so many underrated and undiscovered beauties from the late 60's early 70's, that make Days of Future Passed sound dull in comparison.

Just a few from my current playlist:

Far East Family Band - Cave Down to the Earth

Camel Mirage

The Shiver - Walpurgis (got this one because of the album cover)

There's tons of great fucking albums from the 70's, check the related videos.
