Oh man, I remember literally RUNNING to my grandma's house after school to catch Rocko's Modern Life. Nick was my life man, then something happened. Sucks ass now. It's too bad the kids of today couldn't be a part of all the great shows of the mid to late 90's on Nick.
06-18-2005, 11:36 PM
the 90's.........great time for hip-hop.........great time for t.v.

As soon as I read the topic title I immediately thought of Salute Your Shorts. So that's pretty dope that this was the 1st picture I saw entering the post. Afraid of the Dark was an absolute favorite of mine, I was all over that shit every Saturday night. I don't remember My Brother And Me tho. What about Pete and Pete, or Hey Dude?
06-19-2005, 01:59 AM
yehhh. all that good shit. damn. sickens me to watch the bullshit they got on now. Disney channel is my home these days.
My shows were:
Are You Afraid of The Dark - The clown episode had me shook for awhile.
The Wonderful World of Alex Mack - What happened to her? Her black friend was in John
Legends "Ordinary People " video.
All That - Remeber these skits: Repair Man Man Man, The Library Lady, "SHHHHHHHH, there's no talking in the library. Kel loves orange soda, Keenan putting ketchup on everything. They're special musical guest was great too.
Legend of The Hidden Temple - I used to dream of being on that game show.
Ren and Stimpy - That was some weird funny shit.
Animalmorphia (sp?) - These group of kids used to morph into animals, then save the day by using their animal senses.
Wow this thread bring back memories.

Haha my friend just got Pete+Pete on DVD, the thing I remember the most about that show is the tattoo named Petunia. Classic show.
06-19-2005, 11:59 AM
All That was like a kid's SNL, when SNL was good. I mean, looking back, I didn't appreciate it: it was classic, and it was funny. Man, I miss the old Nick days.

Did My Brother and Me have Steve Harvey in it? I remember going back to the 80's and remebering You can't do that on Television and getting slimed and stuff. I used to watch Hey Dude a lot. The blonde girl from the show is the girl that is married to Ben Stiller, and she was in the Dodgeball movie. I saw the cute brown haired girl in a topless pic in Playboy a few years back. I also liked Pete and Pete. Wild and Crazy Kids. I would watch Are you Afraid of the Dark a lot on Saturday nights. I think it came on around 9:30. Some of those episodes were pretty creepy, even though I wasn't a real little kid at the time I watched them. Especially the one with the clown. 'Pick the right door and you'll go free, pick the wrong door, and there he'll be. lol I liked how some of the episodes didn't end with a happy ending.
