these are amongst the two most anticipated albums of the year for me and Smif N Wessun said the album was done and we already got a tracklist and single for Pharoahe's "W.A.R." album. HipHopDX.com reports that both albums are pushed back to February 2012 (!!!!) but i'm pretty sure it's a typo meaning they pushed it back to Feb. 2011.

Distributors reveal that two of Duck Down Records' most anticipated releases may be delayed to February.

Amidst a busy 15th anniversary, Duck Down Records has released albums from Kidz In The Hall, Skyzoo & !llmind, Marco Polohttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2b.gif (http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.12198/title.pharoahe-monchs-war-and-smif-n-wessun-pete-rocks-monumental-postponed-to-2012#) & Ruste Juxx and others. However, two of the most anticipated albums came courtesy of Pharoahe Monch (http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/interviews/id.1520/title.pharoahe-monch-back-on-my-bs)'s third solo album, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) and Smif-n-Wessun (http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/interviews/id.940/title.smif-n-wessun-stand-strong)'s Pete Rock-produced LP, Monumental.

HipHopDX has learned through E1 Entertainment that both releases, initially planned for October and November respectively, have been postponed to February.

Last week, it was announced that both acts would be touring, along with Buckshot, Skyzoo and Sean Price as part of Duck Down's 15th Anniversary Tour (http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.12178/title.duck-down-records-hosts-15-year-anniversary-tour-with-boot-camp-clik-pharoahe-monch).

This was guaranteed, how you surprised. They had way too many albums droppin together for all the dates to hold.

Not really surprised, I don't think W.A.R. is fully completed anyway.

But if Random Axe doesn't drop this year, I'm kicking someone in the balls!

It's crazy. They've been an independent label for 15 years and never folded or put out bad music. That's pretty amazing in today's industry.
