what would the best album to get from them? I've heard a couple songs, I wanna hear more. which album do you recommend?

Get their self-titled debut and work your way from there. If you like the self-titled you'll like the rest of their discography. But the self-titled one is by far their best material imo. Jim Morrison was amazing. The End is probably one of my favorite songs of all time.
