saw you been doing quite a bit of work lately, nice to see. professional looking reviews too, i especially enjoyed your "Alphabets" review to name one - keep it up!
i've been busy with a project on record collection from a music sociologic perspective that's been quite interesting and then working on my blog on nights but i've got a few days off now so will write some reviews tomorrow.
btw, what you think about the new Killarmy single? peace
hahah alot of people be suprised when i tell them that,. and i mentioned it in only a few threads bc i don't really feel it's relevant where you from on a music forum but i've noticed alot of people who's caught up in all that EU/US bs. but if you check on my blog i posted a few Swedish rappers and one of their videos, those guys are close friends of mine.
i've been into hip-hop since i was around 12 and it was Wu-Tang who i first was introduced to. they were huge here around that time (a little before "Wu-Tang Forever") and so was 2Pac but i always liked Wu alot more. when i got a little older i used to be a graffiti writer too for several years but i don't really fuck with it anymore. ever since i first Wu i really fell in love with this type of music and haven't looked back since.
how about you, how long have you been listening to hip-hop and what got you into it?
yeah i know what you're saying, most of the times i miss out on recommendations for the same reason myself but as soon as something drops that i got an interest in from jump i'm hunting it down. i've been writing some reviews this morning too, just finished for now.
damn while i was doing "The Glide" review I picked out my '4:21...' CD and put it on the track and I was totally blown away and after that i listened to the other 4 RZA tracks and the one Havoc did and DAMN. i'm an album guy so if an album has alot of filler i often don't listen to anything at all of it which has been the case of that album. i haven't heard those tracks in over a year probably but they are all so fucking good... as i said in my review if Meth would've gotten RZA to produce his entire project in 2006 he would have topped 'Tical'.
yeah i know about that King Crimson joint, it's a great song! the only thing i wish is that they would've used the main riff a little more since it's so fucking addictive.. that's a dope album that's from too, "In The Court of the Crimson King".
