good points, i agree that there ain't a song on there that's much less than a 4/5 on first listen. i really liked "Silver Ringz" tho, i thought it was a banger. i've only listened to it once so far and placed the pre-order before the last song had even played through. i'm only gonna play it sporadically now until i receive my official copy but i'm pleased to say that the LP was better even than i expected.
i got so much shit to do this week it ain't even funny, but i was thinking i could at least try to do 1 review every day so we're at least moving at a snales pace. i added the Charles Mingus track earlier.
let me know if you find the album, i'll do the same if i come across it first. can't wait to hear this, i bet it will be another banger. the wu corp server has been acting like a bitch the last two days, i was even gonna write some reviews this morning but i just kept getting an error message. i'll go through the list tomorrow tho, sorry about the delay.
yo i know you like some heavy '70s rock, pink floyd, hendrix and zeppelin, and i'm not sure if you like funk and jazz fusion but i wanna recommend three albums by Miles Davis called "Agharta", "Pangae" and "Dark Magus". this is not jazz/fusion, this is not heavy metal, this is not funk, this is not hip-hop but it's all that and then some. these three albums have become legendary, as they were only released in Japan and "Agharta" and "Pangae" were the two last concert Miles did before a 5 year retirement and it was the height of his dark funk/fusion/hendrix style. they are all live albums with no breaks between tracks, everything just flows into everything. would be intersting to see if you're feeling this type of shit.
ok you can do that, but there's no hurry. take some time off too and just chill, i'ma working sporradically in the section. maybe i'll find some time today if i'm not going out, but i told you what happened plus i got all these bitch shit in school. writing 30 computer written pages and reading 800-900 pages til' the middle of march is a real struggle. i checked the list before but there wasn't too much i wanted to change but i'm gonna look it over again. btw did we include the Charlie Mingus RZA remix?
thanks the same. do you mean that "Groundbreaking" should be in higher or lower regards, i don't think it should be higher. nah, haven't heard the "Repo Man" track, is it dope?? do we still have room on the list?
