I think toilets in Turkey deserve mention. Essentially they feature a "water cannon" aimed from the rear of the toilet toward the front. The usual US toilet has a large porcelain ring at the top of the bowl which allows water to drain and wash the BM into the bowl. The Turkish toilets have a small spout mounted into this porcelain ring. Thus the water stream bisects the bum at a position below the toilet set. Volume of water flow in controlled by a simple valve located to the right side of the toilet. Want a power wash...just turn the valve wide open. You can modulate the flow as you would to wash your hands. And you sit on the terlit...no squatting. Use paper to dry. It should be easy to fit a hot and cold mixing valve and perhaps introduce some type of cleansing agent for a deluxe power wash. Any further support for the Turkish Delight ???
