question about the arrow buttons
i left my laptop on last night and my little billy was crawling on it and fucked it up.
i can't use the arrows to scroll up and down anymore, not like i normally do. when you use the arrows to scroll up and down the page moves up and down gradually but now when i use the arrows a cursor appears on the page and scrolls up or down according to what's on the page, so it scrolls irratically. and my pgup and pgdn buttons don't work like they used to. it's annoying having to move my cursor to the edge of the page and press the left pad button to scroll up and down to read a page. can someone help me please? :'( |
im assuming little billy your cat theirs probably hair in the board or he peed on it
you mean you don't have a mouse wheel on your mouse,.. try cleaning the keyboard. go into control panel in the start menu, go to keyboard settings and adjust the sensitivity. if that doesn't work, join the 21 century. http://codinghorror.typepad.com/.a/6...77031da970c-pi if you can't afford the 10 dollars, steal one from your local library |
If it's windows, try rebooting. Cures 98% of your problems.

try reinstalling the keyboard in device manager or get in touch with whoever made your laptop

Don't be scared of uninstalling the keyboard, it's no big deal. It will reinstall itself. You can try doing it in safe mode.

thanks for your help guys but Warpath suggested pressing F7 and that did the trick.
how do you do things in safe mode? i think i did it before a long time ago and i've forgotten now. |
