Mayweather seems to be scared of the orientals

Ceited I said if john wall did what lin did, clearly he did not. If a black player did what lin has done thered simply be less coverage because itd be less surprising/noteworthy

The high amount of asian media in Golden St. had to do with a high asian population in that particular area, not the overall aspect of an asian player being in the NBA.

Lin-sanity is amongst us for several reason

1. He is ballin and the Knicks are winning

2. He plays for the Knicks, who have been overhyped lately, and he is turning them around

3. He is Chinese-American and they support their own greatly. the Bay Area and NYC have the two largest Chinese populations in the States so its no surprise he is immensely popular in these markets.



On top of all of this, aside from Yao, there has never been a Chinese player play this well in the NBA.

The popularity of basketball in China is pretty high, seeing as how they recruited alot of NBA players there.




All of the black athletes that have been hating on Lin are just showing the overall ignorance of the black athlete in America.


But its not surprising....they see the NBA as THEIRS much like the white upper class saw the PGA as THEIRS when Tiger-mania started.




But the bottom line is......JEREMY LIN can ball.

he is hyped up mainly because he is doing to the knicks what Melo and Amare should have been doing. thats making the Knicks win.

the guy can play though, he thrives in D'Antoni's system.

Of course part of his popularity is because he's not Black but what do you expect? An amazing Black athlete in the NBA- yea, that's the story of a lifetime. This cat isn't Black, wasn't drafted, went to Harvard, started the year as an obscure statistic and turned that all around in a week. You throw in the fact that he's playing in NYC, in a city full of Asians and of course the hype is going to be bigger than a small market team. Mayweather is crying yet again about race, i'm tired of that bitch ass nigga. People don't hate him because of his record, they hate him because of his buffoonery.

Like the article says, Mayweather is acting like the Williams sisters or Tiger Woods haven't benefited from doing well in sports that aren't known for having many Black participants.
