Anyone lookin forward to this? worth another play through imo

A re-release of Doom 3 called Doom 3 BFG Edition is expected for release in Q4 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The BFG Edition will feature "greatly enhanced graphics", a checkpoint save system, and support for 3D displays and HMDs. Also, the game will include the previous Resurrection of Evil expansion, and a new single player expansion pack called The Lost Mission. Additionally, it will include copies of the original Doom, and Doom 2.

getting it, but a geeky Doom fan on Youtube created a MOD of Doom, meaning his own version of the original game. and this kid's version is actually BETTER than the original. this is what Doom should've been. the creators of the game need to bogart this kid's style....

I will be getting this for sure. I've always wanted to play Doom 3 but just never got the opportunity.

The co-op gameplay for DOOM 3 was only included with the original Xbox release of DOOM 3. As BFG Edition is based upon the original PC release, there is no online/offline cooperative play. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of DOOM and DOOM II feature online and splitscreen co-op supporting 2-4 players.
