He's got a point Soul, u think the police are just going to stand back and watch if they see you trying to 'arrest' one of their own? You're basically inviting them to storm in on you and start cracking heads! I think you would be helping yourself more and giving anon more credibility if you just stuck with getting rid of the trouble makers at these protests and handing them over to the police. They would probably have a lot more respect for you by doing that

the police come dressed for war, we are always plain clothed,
they always insite, use violence, kettling tactics, that are all classed as illegal. we are peaceful,. we will be doing nothing violent at all. just sticking together.. :) but we all know, the corporate policey officers can use as much violence as they want to uphold 'freedom' / 'democracy' imagine if the masses where on the streets.. who would have the power then?? either you continue knowing how fascist the world is becoming, or you actively create change. its upto you :) depends what sort of future you want for your kids/yourselves unprovoked beatdowns is what makes the masses goto the streets.. anyone recall mark duggan? wonder what the result of the police shooting him was.... |
they're there to stop any potential riots though so of course they're gonna be dressed in riot gear. Better to have it and not need it that not have it and need it....
I do believe that you go there to protest peacefully and stand up for what you believe in which I do respect but you cant tell me there wont be trouble makers who also attend and will be doing their best to try and wind up the police just to provoke a reaction? You say you're peaceful yet now have rules of engagement as if you're going to war.... If the masses were on the street and had the power then we would be fucked, simple as. you think everyone is just gonna all get along and live happily ever after abiding by a nice code of morals? What would deter someone from breaking into your home and stealing your shit or kicking the shit out of you for no reason, even killing you just cos they feel like it. any peaceful protest has the potential to turn into a riot, all it takes is one little thing to set it off.....
I dont know anything about this black blocc or cops in disguise but there will be regular people attending who will see it as an opportunity to cause trouble I did acknowledge the part about you arresting other protestors who are instigating violence, I think u should stick to that and drop the idea of citizens arresting police! whether u agree or disagree the police do protect and serve the public, where I live assaults and burgalries have dropped dramatically cos there is more police on the street, I think just their presence is enoughto put people off I would love to join you on the next protest but I'm erm... washing my hair that day! Not everyone has ninjas around to protect them! Think we can agree to disagree lol :) |
