Raekwon has been carrying the torch for the last few years
It seems like the rest of the clan is approaching retirement. GZA has always been my favorite Clan member but his sleepy flow bores me now. Raekwon seems to be the hardest working Clan member out of all of them. Meth is always touring but doesn't release anything. Raekwon is definitely carrying the torch and the rest of the members need to catch up  .

Ummm yea, no.
Ghostface has always been the torch bearer in the clan. He's never not been relevant. Close thread. |
raekwons ok to me. this forum dickrides the hell out of him sometimes. i was only impressed with him lyrically on immobilarity and hes kind of lost his flow so no i dont think hes a torch carrier.

This is the dude who think Ghost resurrected Wu-Tang with the soul classic Wizard of Poetry. |
Rae, Ghost , Killah Priest , Meth & RZA have been the stongest torch carriers.
Rae & Ghost for their consistency and constant releases. Priest for his untouchable lyrical ability as wellas work ethic with plenty of projects released RZA for his work as a producer, and for his work in hollywood, bringin wu into a whole new demographic with film And Meth for his live shows and acting. The man is ALWAYS on tour. Im sure thats what brings home most of the money..wish hed release that classic we know hes capable of dropping |

who the fuck thought wizard of poetry was good because ive only word ceited say that.
was it OP or brock |
I've been saying this. As far as hip-hop goes it's been Raekwon since 2009, look at how much shit he's dropped and how many guest spots he's hopped on. Definitely been carrying the Wu on his back. Ghost has been just sticking to dropping albums and touring which is good too but you have to give the work ethic award to Raekwon. Rza is definitely holding down the Wu as far as hollywood goes, no question. Priest is holding down the underground shit as well, he took a hiatus but he's gonna drop something heavy next month, I can feel it. Everyone else needs to step up or retire, it's getting to the point where we don't care. Method Man pisses me off man, imagine if he's putting out mixtape after mixtape album after album. I'm sure there's plenty of producers willing to work with him but oh well.

Ghost held it down from 2000 to 2008. Rae from 2009 to present.... however, Ghost is taking it back with Twelve Reasons to Die and Blue & Cream, so this thread will only be relevant until.......when does Twelve Reasons to Die drop? oh yeah, march 19

|
^Not with his solo work he hasn't
|
^^ Musically his solo work is better than Rae's

Ghost went through reverse puberty around 2005
