Prince Paul produced this?

UNCLE RUCKUS 07-03-2006 04:10 PM

Yeah Prince Paul did all 3 of the first De La records they´re all excellent. I have this one; the first De La album is prolly the most creative hiphop record.

this album is simply amazing...i be blowing and i am i be are two of the best songs ever

Wzarecta 07-05-2006 04:56 AM

Probably my favourite De La album, Breakadawn, I Am I Be and Ego Trippin' pt.2 are all amazing.

This album was alright. I like the songs Ego Trippin, 3 Days Later, Area, Breakadawn, Stone Age with Biz Markie.

this is their best album...

I'm surprised there's not more love for this one. Prince Paul reached his production peak on this one. It's so beautiful and jazzy not to mention the rhymes are creative and original.

I think this would have to be my favourite De La album simply because the quality of music is equal to, if not better than, the first 2 albums, but you don't have all the skits and shit breaking it up.

All 3 are timeless classics. Some of the greatest hip hop albums of all time.

LORD NOSE 03-30-2013 08:36 AM

with this album, it seems like they was going through a transition.

Stakes Is High is their best album. Who's the guy standing next to DJ Maseo on Buhloone Mind State album cover?

FlamingSwordz 04-27-2013 05:02 PM

Not sure.

But I as well fell in love with this album. So many great tracks.

its Dave, Maseo Pos, and Prince Paul

CharlesJones 04-28-2013 06:41 AM

It doesn't look like Prince Paul.

KJR 04-28-2013 06:54 AM

Personally, this has to the most cohesive album De La ever released. The jazzy production makes it a unique beast, that's for sure.
