why are you comparing nas to raekwon? they're similar artists, but there second and first albums both came out at different times. myself I don't really affiliate them except for a few collaborations.

8/10 that album is good, the only reason it sometimes gets faded is because it came out after illmatic, and every was expecting it to be as good as illmatic. the intro is intresting, and all the joints were done rite

It Was Written was my first rap album, and is my favorite Nas album.. Everybody else likes Illmatic much more, but to me, It Was Written is the best album Nas ever made..

yeah this is a classic, for sure.my favs are the message, take it in blood, affirmative action and if i ruled the world. plus the intro is fuckin dope!!!
