New Rap Documentary Called Kill The Record Labels

I saw this dvd on Rapmusic.com yesterday and i will be checking for it when it comes out. The documentary has rappers talking about how shady record companies are and how record companies have been killing rap music the last few years. 50 Cent and a few other rappers are on the cover of the dvd. I like to hear rappers talk about the business side of the record industry because you get to hear their opinions about how these record companies operate and you hear how the artists get taken advantage of financially. Dr Dre, Fatlip of The Pharcyde, Wyclef Jean, Ras Kass spoke about record companies in rap documentary Rhyme And Reason movie and their opinions were very good. Wyclef gave a very good description of how record companies take advantage of the artists when he said the record companies build up the artists like their Superman and he said when you find out how much money you're getting, you end up being garbageman hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Lol those are the wrong people I think to ask....ok, it's gonna be interesting to hear Ras Kass' story...El-P should've been there too, he got fucked by Rawkus.

GZA and RZA also got fucked.

I don't think Ras Kass is gonna be in the documentary. I just mentioned him because he spoke about record companies in Rhyme And Reason movie. You should check out Rhyme And Reason if you haven't seen it. That's a very good rap documentary and the soundtrack is real good. Yeah just from looking at the rappers on the cover of Kill The Record Labels dvd, i don't think i wanna hear their opinions because most of them don't know how to talk well LOL. The rappers i wanna hear from about record companies are brothers that speak well like KRS One, Pharoahe Monch, Black Thought, Redman, EPMD, Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian, Wise Intelligent, MC Ren. Fuck these new unintelligent rappers who can't speak well. I see why the record companies take advantage of their dumb asses because they don't know shit LOL. All they know how to do is spend their money on a lot of materialistic shit. They don't know nothing about how record companies operate. Dr Dre was talking about that in Rhyme And Reason movie. He said a lot of rappers don't know when they're supposed to get paid and how much they're supposed to get paid. They don't know about masters and what a point is but he said they can tell you how much a Mercedes cost LOL.

Rhyme and Reason was the last "real good" hip hop documentaries i've seen, and that was back in like 97. Anyone recommend any good ones. I seen Beat Kingz, which was good, but I thought it was too short. This should be good.

Thats how the world operates. If you aren't proficient with math, basic financial skills or fail to have a lawyer present when signing important contracts - you will be taken for.
