This is the track I first thought of when I saw the thread. One of the best examples of what hip hop means to people. Common created an excellent and fair assessment of the state of the genre.

For sure man. I am a diehard metal fan, but hip hop has always been the best genre imo. Its hard to find people into both genres, especially death metal.
