Re: Wu Tang Corp Beat Battle 6 (Vote Now!!!)

Cokeman did the most with the sample IMO. The other beats sounded good too, just a bit similar, because everybody sampled almost the same part.

Cokeman took it this time for me, as his approach...

Re: Wu Tang Corp Beat Battle 6 (Submit Beats Here)

Yo,

First off, nice beats y'all!

I want to enter this beat battle, but I think I'm to late. I hope I can still enter, but if not, no problem, I'll just try some other time.

Anywayz,...

Re: What did RZA do differently on Wu Forever?

One of the biggest differences IMO is that compared to RZA's work on 36 chambers and the general solo's in 94-96, where drums are heavily sampled (80-90% drumbreaks), his later work tends to have...

Re: WU-Tang fan in tears

Well did anyone think of the fact that Wu-fans are the hardest fans to please?

Wu-tang changed, because people change. The industry changed, the fanbase changed. Things just change overtime.

Re: Which Tracks did RZA produce in "Supreme Clientele" & "Ironman"??

BUY THE ALBUMS!

They're both dope, so why not pay for the better sound quality?

Plus you'll get a booklet with all the info!

There are even special stores where you can buy only music!...

Re: RZA wants a poll to be made - 1000 VOTES NEEDED - Vote!

Personnaly I've had enough of Digi, so my prefered release would be Return of the Prince....bring us some vintage RZA!

Digi is aight, but IMO there's no need for another release.

Mad dope RZA...

Re: RZA The CURE

It seems like RZA isn't to focussed on putting out an album any time soon. He's more into scoring movies now. That's what I love about that guy, he'll always find a new niche to exploit his talents....

Re: The World According To Rza !!!

I think Europeans tend to enjoy this album more than Americans, because of the concept ofcourse.

I like this album, it sounds really fresh. Some beats are subpar though, so there is no way this...

Re: Your first Wu-Tang album

First I bought 36 Chambers and a week later I borrowed Wu-forever from a friend and had to get that too. Things really started from there.

True, but actually the name of the villian was Ghostfaced Killer, hence the name Ghostface Killer without the 'D'.

Cosign!

I made a reply in another thread a while ago that stated that I was fed up with all the complaining on this site, but what about complaining about all this complaining? Is that not being...

Re: which MC's have the best taste in beats?

Not to sure about Guru. Heard Guru's new album? Dissapointing all the way through. Not to fond of some of his Jazzmatazz stuff too. It's a damn shame Gangstarr is no more, because guru + premier =...

Re: Pi-Pol: Hellevator Music, Raw Deluxe and Deadly Pi Method

Good stuff!

Hellevator Music - Dope samples, good atmosphere on the track, great drumkit and pattern, nice synths too at about 1 min! That really adds something to the track. Great variation on...

From Wu probably Method Man - Biscuits has the most bass.

Re: Beat

Dope beat! My guess for the sample is: William Bell - Crying all by myself, am I wrong? ;).

The piano loop is very ill! The voice sample at the end of each loop adds nice variety to the track....

Re: Is anyone here a Kanye fan?

As long as he's not rapping, he's ok. He brought a new style to the table, which got played out real quick. Bu he's an ok producer I guess. Nothing to special about him IMO, but he's got some nice...

Re: (((((((((((((((((g.o.d))))))))))))))))))))

Word! I feel you on that. I was over at the Chambermusik boards too, but I didn't really post there much. I just don't like the attitude on those boards. It is good to be back on Wutangcorp! :)
