Granted his voice was nice but Anka actually sings with some passion.
Same for Elvis...the guy had range...I mean listen to :
"An American Trilogy"/"Love Me Tender"/"You Were Always On My Mind"
Fair enough it's hard to compare the two...
But to me thre is only one winner by a landslide..Elvis.
As Sinatra had little to no range at all.
I saw a Documentary about the life of Elvis Presley-
And he done a duet with Frank Sinatra !!!!!!! have you seen or heard it ?
You say Sinatra was the best at what he did...but who else is in that genre ???
This is not my forte.
And Otis Reading was a man possessed when he sang...
Like I said he could sing...(due to his voice...not skill)
But the greatest ever...Hahahahaha
No life in his music? I think the dude sang magic.
Sinatra can be compared to cats like Dean Martin and Paul Anka.
This is the Elvis & Sinatra song:
IMO Sinatra is the better singer in this song.
I even dare to say he does a terrible job at singing my way:
Not saying he's wack either.
I like Elvis' Rock & Roll songs best.
It's all cool though, all the musicians we just mentioned were great. Sinatra was just a little bit better than the rest. lol.
