they finally move to Pittsburgh.

the Cleveland Browns never won a super bowl until they relocated to baltimore and became the ravens.

the cleveland barons never won a stanley cup until they merged with the north stars and finally relocated to dallas and became the stars.


a few years ago, when the nba had 29 teams, they were looking to add one more expansion team. they looked closely at pittsburgh since we were the largest television market without an nba franchise, but because our arena was so old, when the hornets relocated to new orleans, they awarded charlotte with another franchise.

fast forward to 2010 and Pittsburgh has a brand new arena opening in just a few months. lebron james will be leaving cleveland for the glamour and fame of new york city or LA.

ok, so cleveland sells out all of their games the last few years, but we are in a recession and if you look at the cavalier's average attendance the year before lebron... 11,500, i don't think the team will survive in that dump of a town.
