Re: My mind wont sleep
What alters our sleep now the most are the artificial environments that we spend most of our time in.
We need sunlight during the day. Our body's biorhythms are set by the retina catching sunlight. If you have a visible melanin content, you need sunlight to be absorbes by your skin to manufacture vitamin D. All humans need sunlight in order to bild and store melatonin in the pineal gland for restful, full REM sleep.
Artificial light does not allow the same melatonin levels. And if your pineal gland already suffers from 'calcification,' then that adds to the problem.
Proper diet which includes high energy foods- fruits and vegetables- and plenty of water and exercise are necessary for proper sleep.
Meditation helps to relax the mind as well.
