really, it boils down to the fact that the 2nd amendment was put into place to make the playing field a little bit more even.
if your government decides that it is not run by the people anymore and that they want to make your decisions for you, then you have the right to defend yourself from a government that has spiraled out of control.
basically it should be if a united states soldier can have a assault weapon, then you as a citizen should be able to have the exact same weapon to protect you & yours.
The idea of civilians banding together with their "replica" assault weapons to overthrow a tyrannical government is hilarious and extremely far fetched
Have these people not watched that future weapons show, or have a basic understanding of the NSA's capabilities in 2013?
Have you ever ventured into wal-mart and just observed the behavior or eaves dropped on the conversations of the typical shopper there? Are you really comfortable letting these people of below average intelligence and reasoning skills handle a military grade weapon like an m-16?
