But I'm not talking about wasted time here. It's not even a factor. I'm talking about people talking/reading about other people's personal lives and making that shit public. I'm talking about how utterly fucking ridiculous and unacceptable that is. I'm talking about people actually treating celebrities like they're interesting people who are different from the rest of us, and talking about their lives as if it's normal to be interested in that shit, and to discuss the lives of these fucking strangers. And we're such fucking ridiculous, absurd creatures that it actually IS NORMAL to talk about that shit. Why is it so hard for people to recognize how fucking absurd that is?
It's one thing for a celebrity to write an autobiography so that they can willingly share their life story with those who are interested. It's quite another to write/read/talk about which celebrity is dating who, who's pregnant, who might have fucked who, who had a car accident, who got drunk in public, who said something controversial etc etc.
What it comes down to is that I really despise human beings and try not to think about any of this shit but sometimes I just can't help myself and go on a rant like this, regretting it before, during and after.
Lol yeah i feel ya. It is unpleasant.
There are a lot of celebrities i consider heroes but its because of their work. their private lives and the fact that they may be complete pricks doing ridiculous things means nothing to me.
Ocassionaly celebrity awfulness is entertaining though, like this is just comedy gold:
