The thing is that it doesn't really matter if he's innocent or not. But you were arguing like someone does not deserve a trial regardless of new evidence, if he already had a number of trials. And that is very unjust! You even implied that if even more people would get the chance of a new trial, more poeple would be proven innocent. Well, I do agree with that, but why do you want to categorically refuse trials in these situations then?
