There's problems with this all over. Even in Canada on reserves. In Russia, Europe, some latino countries. They are afraid of us because some of us had to become scary at one point or another.

it's always been big within the Latino groups

    spain put white over black

the methods they used to print this in all of our minds had to be hardcore if we are still suffering from it right now - better yet, the methods they use are updated and promoted in media - some we see some we don't - most people have no clue to what's going on

this is also very interesting. I am not a scholar in hinduism, but from a cultural perspective, the caste system is very important in the area. This includes India, Pakistan etc as they all share similar cultural backgrounds.

I will use the term "Indian" but with it, include Pakistanis and Bangladeshis etc.

Many Indians, especially those who grew up in India and then move to the west or stay in India, have this issue of superiority complex. Since the British, White people seem to be the pinnacle of man for many Indians. You see this in all aspects from what skin tone you should marry, to the beauty products on the shelves.

The dark skin is seen as "less". It does not fulfil the aspirational faculty of people there. It is deemed inferior even. Racism is very widespread there and ofte transcends between people without the even knowing it. Race, religion, caste (family names), socio economic backgrounds... ALL encompass the issues faced by the people living there.

this is the case with alot of countries.

one thing that pisses me off in Turkey is the extreme case of elitism. They have even given names to the two types of Turks you can get. one is the 'White Turks' the other 'Black Turks'. the White Turks are the educated elite, secular, liberal, so-called intellects who are modern and live a more western lifestyle. the Black Turks as you may guess are the socially backward, religiously conservative, ignorant and more middle eastern in culture.

there is this massive obsession with everything European. its like our own culture is filthy but the European one is just fantastic in all aspects.
