Buddha Monk headlining festival tonight in Worcester, Mass
this is from yesterday, so the concert is being rescheduled for today.
WORCESTER — The African-American festival scheduled to take place in Institute Park today has been postponed because of inclement weather.
However the featured act, The Manhattans, will still perform a concert at 6 tonight at Home Style Cuisine II, 33 Canterbury St.
The main festival has been rescheduled to noon to 8 p.m. tomorrow. Buddah Monk from Wu-Tang Clan will be the headline act.
Both events are free, family friendly, and open to the public.
The festival includes music, arts and crafts, food, dance, sports, a history exhibit, and vendors and celebrates African-American history and culture as well as the nationally recognized end of slavery.
Among other featured performers at tomorrow's event will be the finale of the Black Starz competition. The festival will also showcase local performers, including Hope Records, Kid Colossal, Gospel Choir Association of America and Echos of Africa.
