    Are you for real son?

Em would, maybe, make it into the top 100 (just about), but only because of his earlier work.
    And it's a big "maybe".
There's a decent chance there are 100 rappers better than Eminem in New York alone.

Lol at some people in this thread. I am not saying that Eminem is the best (even if he is my favorite rapper without a doubt), but that saying he aint even in the top 100? Come on... He is arguable one of the most skilled rapper ever, and is up there with Kool G Rap, Rakim, One Be Lo, Black Thought, Nas, Cormega whether you like it or not.

"Ayo, my pen and paper cause a chain reaction
To get your brain relaxing, a zany acting maniac in action
A brainiac in fact son, you mainly lack attraction
You look insanely whack when just a fraction of my tracks run
My rhyming skills got you climbing hills
I travel through your mind into your spine like siren drills
I'm sliming grills of roaches, with sprayed on disinfectants
Twist the necks of rappers 'til their spinal column disconnects
We disinfect then check the monologue, turn your system up
Twist them up, and indulge in the marijuana smog
This is the season for noise pollution contamination

    My lamination of narration
Hit's a snare and bass of track fucked up rapper interrogation

He'd make my top 100 but he can't touch Black Thought, Nas or One Be Lo. Not even close.

    whoa now

lets not take this outta context, Eminem is a very skilled artist. sure his later material is garbage for the most part, but as an emcee his technical abilities and presence on the mic cant be denied, easily a top 50 emcee.

but to say there are no emcees better then him? thats plain retarded and shows obvious lack of attention to other emcees.

like Graveyard said, lets start with Kool G Rap

It's a wind up dude. No one really bit the bait though.

In all honesty, I wouldn't put Em in the top 10 though.
I doubt he'd put himself in the top 10, if he were asked about it.

If we're starting with Kool G Rap.
There's also no disputing that Ghostface Killah and Chef Raekwon are both better mcs than Eminem.

How is those 4 G Rap lines any better than Eminem? G Rap/Rakim created the style, Eminem mastered it.

They say music can alter moods and talk to you
Well can it load a gun up for you , and cock it too
Well if it can, then the next time you assault a dude
Just tell the judge it was my fault and i'll get sued
See what these kids do is hear about us totin' pistols
And they want to get one cause they think the shit's cool
Not knowin' we really just protectin' ourselves, we entertainers
Of course the shit's affectin' our sales, you ignoramus
But music is reflection of self, we just explain it, and then we get our
    checks in the mail
    It's fucked up ain't it
How we can come from practically nothing to being able to have any fuckin'
    thing that we wanted
That's why we sing for these kids, who don't have a thing
Except for a dream, and a fuckin' rap magazine
Who post pin-up pictures on their walls all day long
Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs
Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in their lives
Till they sit and they cry at night wishin' they'd die
Till they throw on a rap record and they sit, and they vibe
We're nothin' to you but we're the fuckin' shit in they eyes
That's why we seize the moment try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and
    hold it
Cause we consider these minutes golden
And maybe they'll admit it when we're gone
Just let our spirits live on, through our lyrics that you hear in our
    songs and we can...

lyricism doesn't really get any better than this.
