    definates are - fugees, older tupac, doggystyle, DOOM, nas, bigge

    for me not alot of new shit goes down well early.

    ATCQ, older Gang Starr and Guru, Ghostface's more soulful tunes, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Main Source's first album, "Chronic" and "Doggystyle, "Today Was a Good Day" by Cube, "Like Water For Chocolate" and "Resurrection" by Common, "Word...Life" by OC... just some good ones that comes to mind. sometimes i prefer jazz over hip-hop early in the morning though, it depends.
