Default GZA announces next album Dark Matter

    From HiphopDX:
GZA provided HipHopDX with the following statement, "I will take a quantum leap and discuss the universe while taking us on a journey through deep space. Traveling at light-speed from the galactic center of one galaxy to the farthest corners of another. I hope my listeners will enjoy this cosmic adventure within a world of colossal planets, gas giants, meteorites, comets, and asteroids in the most extreme conditions."

GZA's forthcoming solo album, Dark Matter, is planned for 2012 release on Babygrande Records.

Ok, it's confirmed. The most lyrical album of all time will probably be released in 2012. Hope his flow & delivery will be great, cause lyrically he is going to slaughter it.

^that ox 2010 was pretty cool, forgot that even existed

this could either be brilliant or an interesting disaster (really just depending on the production)...either way, i'm in.

hopefully the unique subject matter makes gza sound more enthusiastic

Did I miss summin or wasnt Liquid Swords 2 suppose to be his next album

either way this sounds intresting but a project like this is gonna depend on some unique and fitting production, others have tried and failed because there rapping about this kind of shit over fruity loops non sense and it comes off uneven

    Hyped regardless

I hope he is going to work with Black Milk again. I think it would be great to see a GZA album entirely produced by Black Milk, he did an amazing job on 7 Pounds. I hope the production will be a lot better than Legend of LS. Can't 4th Disciple, Cilvaringz or Bronze Nazareth do some things for GZA? They are a lot better than most producers he worked with on his latest albums (excluding Grandmasters). Some Muggs on this album could be great and Pete Rock if he can bring the heat like back in the days. Like Spiggity_Ace said it would be great if MF Doom was a producer and let's not forget Madlib man that would be amazing. I am dreaming now hahaha. GZA and Grap Luva?
