Default Iron Fists Box Office Prediction Thread

supposedly the budget was 20 mil. thats on the low side compared to action hollywood joints nowadays so im thinkin unless it bombs real bad it will at least break even. what yall think it'll do ? i say around 40mil or so..

depends how much they put into promotion, and if it makes 40 mil the industry will consider it a box office failure

Even if it'll recoup, it'll still be a success, given that it's his 1st feature. Good luck, Bob. Definetly gon see it at the movies (prolly more than 1nce) if i get the chance.

25-30 if they're lucky. they'll probably make more money off dvd/blu-ray and soundtrack sales.

wonder if they got any merchandising deals?

We've seen movies with lesser budget that made 10X-20X box office numbers, but I'm not so optimistic about this movie.

    Good luck anyway RZA...

It should do good because it has Tarantino's name attached but it will depend on the number of cinemas carrying the flick.

If you think about - How often martial art movies make it to wide distribution? What competition do they have? The genre itself should bring lots of viewers.

I'm sure due to Quentin's name being on it it will receive wide distribution in theatre's.

KILL BILL & KILL BILL2 were the last martial art flicks I can remember that did well.
