Best track on title album, Longevity is a close second
"The devil trembles when he knows the body is the temple and God is in you
It's hard to continue when it's hard to offend you
He snarls and sets traps, that have you setback
The last round in this death match
So strengthen where you're best at
I promise you won't regret that" - Killah Priest
"I soar, above the law, branded illegal
They still rush my door cuz I'm power to the people"
There you have the best track on the album.
Closely followed by this track that for some reason was cut from the album.
Hyperdermix was by far one of the sickest songs ever made in Hip-Hop. Deck showed his arse on that one.
"Die before you die."-Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh)
my favorite deck solo track since I first heard back in the 90's
Favorite Deck verses:
Above The Clouds
Favorite Deck songs:
City High & Lil' Story are his best "recent" stuff.
I like how Deck was rapping in '98, though. If he had better production, he could've had himself a classic. Imagine if '98 Deck had a '98 Premo beat.
People hated on Uncontrolled Substance at the time b/c they were spoiled....it wasn't as good as Ironman or Wu-Tang Forever. But little did we know just how bad things would get, lol.
We should bring copies of The Movement and The Manifesto to Wu-Tang fans in '98. They'd stop bitching about Uncontrolled Substance so quickly.

'Being an effective God is invincible.' -- Gza
'Niggaz wanna rap, and rap, and rap, and rap, and rap, maaaaaaaan fuck that' -- Young Dirty
'He got the power to heal the blind...the first lesson I was taught, is to stop eating swine' -- 9th Prince
I liked his recent appearances on CL2 (minus Mean Streets), The Pilgrimage & certain Manifesto tracks.
His performance on For Heaven's Sake, must be one of his greatest verses.
They're pretty much even on this one, like GZA's a bit more but Deck had one extremely amazing line.
"Life is a script, I'm not a actor but the author
of a modern-day opera, where the main character
is presidential papers, the dominant factor"
Deck on Wu Tang Forever >>>>>>>
seriously one of the illest performances by an mc of all time
Deck was the MVP of 'Forver' for me. Also thought he sounded very good on CL2. Actually, loved him on "Mean Streets". Peace
