    i doubt Deck has even heard of that obscure song, but you never know. Dilla got to that Smokey Robinson song years ago, its a very popular song to sample.

    After Dilla did it, it became popular. Like so many others..

    The way Dilla did the same sample as Pete Rock with Little Brother and killed it.

    I am curious as to how Masta Killa will sound over an album full of 9th Wonder type soul beats?

    To me, dudes like Ghostface and even Rae are more suited for those types of beats...

    The Masta Killa's and GZA's of the world should stick with that hard kung fu sound...they seem more suited to that....

    I assume he's experimenting with this album, and Loyalty is Royalty will have a grittier sound.
