    Children Of The Night

Children Of The Night are the hotly tipped hip hop trio described by MTV as “possibly the best thing out of Queens, New York, since A Tribe Called Quest.” The three young members, hailing from Queens, NY are: Lansky Jones, Remy Banks, and Nasty Nigel. Each member has their own individual style, unique outlook yet their share something more than a home borough, they share a collected vision: to create great music. With co-signs from the likes of Roc Nation’s Young Guru, super producer Ski Beatz, the legendary Large Professor, Roc Marciano, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, and their Queens peer Action Bronson, it’s safe to say that the talented trio are taking New York hip hop by the reins and reclaiming the genre for a new generation, intent on carrying the baton for their borough all the way to the global stage.

Lansky Jones is the lyrical Chameleon. He is able to skill fully deliver on just about any beat, with no two verses sounding the same. His sparse yet original subject matter ranges from Japanese anime to fine dining.

Nasty Nigel is the self proclaimed “Young Spanish Burt Reynolds.” He is the eccentric, playful member of COTN. With an ever changing hairstyle that’s almost as infamous as his bi-lingual flow and tongue in-cheek references, he commands the stage like a rock star resurrected from the 60s. Oh, and not to mention the boy can sing too.

Remy Banks is the fashion-forward rebel known for his smooth one-liners, but don’t let that fool you – he also brings fast-paced, tongue twisting bars. A camo-clad globetrotter, he takes inspiration from the most unlikely of places and stories.

    Main Attrakionz

Hailing from North Oakland, California, Squadda B and Mondre M.A.N. of Main Attrakionz have been rapping together for most of their young lives. Early on, a shared love of rap music led them to put school on the back-burner and focus on producing music with a talented crew of local artists. Over the ensuing seven-plus-years (and with an added assist from the world wide web and social media), Main Attrakionz have cultivated a unique and passionate sound, combining opaque atmospherics and lived-in reality rhymes, that stands as one of the most interesting and refreshing in the crowded and fractured world of today’s rap underground.

Squadda B, who doubles as both producer and rapper, has an instantly identifiable production style that draws from regional rap styles like hyphy and mobb music in the Bay Area, as well as Memphis mixtape obfuscation and the NYC street rap of C-N-N, but also maintains pop accessibility through his use of booming 808s and melodic, floating vocal clips. Simply put: their music sounds like nothing else out right now. Their collaborations with like-minded artists such as Lil B, Clams Casino, and Shady Blaze have only added to post-digital sonics Main Attrakionz have cultivated over the past two years.

A relentless stream of solo and collaborative releases in 2011, including I Smoke Because I Don’t Care About Death, The Shady Bambino Project, Dope Since ’91, and their most definitive statement to-date, 808s and Dark Grapes II, have turned heads not only among those with an Internet connection and an interest in rap music, but have landed them acclaim from publications such as Pitchfork, The New York Times, Complex Magazine, The Fader, SPIN, and Fact Magazine. Their debut LP, Bossalinis & Fooliyones, is set for release in 2012.
