Fuck Jay Electronica. Years ago I thought he was a very interesting artist along with J. Cole (when he used to be good: The Come Up/Warm Up) and Elzhi, but this dude is still trying to find the right platform to release his album???

LOL @ Jay Electronica making an album with MF Doom. He's desperate for attention with this childish act. Jay Elec is expanding his vocabulary with this act.

I have to say tho I can understand him still waiting to drop an album. He is probably having the time of his life with the booty of Erykah.

Typical Hip Hop cats these days, kissing the ass of no talent losers like Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa tryina make a buck. What the hell ever happened to standing for what you believe in, as opposed to puckering up to the pop charts to "expand your base"? Motherfuckas are looking DESPERATE AS HELL, and I can only sit back and laugh at the utter stupidity.

Well considering he was supposed to be some sort of "Hip Hop savior" a few years back, it seems very counter productive to cosign "artists" that have nothing to say and solely exist to further exploit capitalism.

    okay i feel like arguing.

puffy introduced the world to classic music like the lox, biggie, mary j, craig mack etc and was basically the director of 'ready to die'

rick ross? eh hes okay, better as a lyricist though, he has no flow.

wayne, a genius, a hilarious wordsmith that always has the most high tech shit going on, and is never predictable.

french montana he says he likes the swag not the rapping.

it basically comes down to you think jay electronica should like exactly the same music as you, which is not the case.

i have heard them. good lyricists/rappers do not equal good music.

wayne is a genius because hes original and says weird shit, and remembers to write actual songs instead of just rhymes, and gets good beats.
