I guess you have to give 9th some credit for getting about as much as you could out of the same FL drum sounds. He's fucking boring though

black milk is one of my favorite producers of this age, and might be the top for his age, at least for my taste in music

9th can easily be compared to Pete Though - when i first heard 9ths work, i thought he sounded like a baby pete rock - 9th done some incredible work

and BTW, musically, no one tops Tribe/Tip

ever since they came out with People Instinctive, they've been raising the standards mad high - and all of us were trying to catch up - Pete actually was the one who was able to fly as high as them - until people just said "fuck That" and started coming out from where they were using what they got and that opened the door for allot of amateur sounding shit to flood the streets - which may have been a good thing.

this recent track he did for Sadat X is also amazing but like Lord Nose said its in his gritty style, which I like :

in this gritty I also love this :

    CLASSIC!

Main Ingredient was really soulfull but had at the same time amazing bouncy beats.

[QUOTE]=TheFunkyDrummer;2313900]Pete Rock might be better than all those 3 producers, but Madlib and Nujabes are close. Nujabes could have even been a much better producer if he still lived. He got better with each album which is rare in hiphop.

That beat is good, but this is the real PR

    hadn't heard that 1 from pete..i like!
