Agreed. I can't understand why people have 9th on their list. He is as repetitive as it gets. Finds some soulvocals he can loop - the drums and bass he has been using for 15 years now.
9th can easily be compared to Pete Though - when i first heard 9ths work, i thought he sounded like a baby pete rock - 9th done some incredible work
and BTW, musically, no one tops Tribe/Tip
ever since they came out with People Instinctive, they've been raising the standards mad high - and all of us were trying to catch up - Pete actually was the one who was able to fly as high as them - until people just said "fuck That" and started coming out from where they were using what they got and that opened the door for allot of amateur sounding shit to flood the streets - which may have been a good thing.
