Not hating on the album or saying people shouldn't like it, was just another ok forgettable release to me. The music is uninteresting to me now - i'm not saying it's bad or people shouldn't like it....

And although I have couple tracks I favor on here over others, I still want to hear it all play out. It plays like a short film to me more than any of his albums before. Props to all involved for putting this out. I wish more artists would release albums like this.
this album only really works if you play it from beginning to end.

I'd agree with you that its more consistent as an album than most of his other albums, but it doesn't have any high points that can compete with strawberries, the hilton, ragu, whip you, alex etc.

but i can see what you mean that its more of a cohesive album.

Imma say this and this is my personal taste in things but this album is way better than
Fish scale, pretty toney, wizard of poetry , the only other albums I put able this right now is iron man and supreme clientele

To that end I sort of agree with you. But you've just named tracks from 3 different Ghostface albums that don't really go together at all sonically or lyrically. Dope, no doubt, but when I need an album experience I'm going with 12 Reasons. And while I do like The Forest and Alex more than anything on 12 Reasons, every track on 12 Reasons is very consistently really good/great. Not a single dipping point (which includes the instrumental outro). The fact the album isn't that long makes it even more ideal to just press play and enjoy. I listened to it again about an hour ago. It's still awesome.

I've never been one to call an album a classic after being out for, what, a month? I feel a classic album has to have impact and influence (whether you're feeling it or not). Impossible at this stage to know if it's a classic album, but years from now it could very well be. So as far as people calling it classic, I agree with you, but I say that for every album that gets called a classic after it first came out. But as far as being one of Ghost's best albums in an already strong body of work, without question that's true. It's his best album not named Supreme or Ironman. I'm not really sure how that is even debatable.
