    Default Ingredients found in lipstick

many popular brands of lipstick contain potentially dangerous amounts of toxic metals, researchers have found.

Health scientists at the university of california tested 32 lipsticks and lip glosses commonly found in drug and department stores and found high levels of lead, cadmium, chromium, aluminum and other metals.
While the presence of metals in lipstick is nothing new, the researchers found that in some cases, the levels were so high they could be harmful to users' health.

"just finding these metals isn't the issue; it's the levels that matter," researcher s. Katharine hammond said in a press release. "some of the toxic metals are occurring at levels that could possibly have an effect in the long term."

the average lipstick-wearer ingests 24 milligrams of the stuff a day, according to an earlier study cited by the researchers. People who wear a lot of lipstick and reapply frequently may ingest as many as 87 milligrams.

    Ingredients in other products:
bird droppings, bee venom and placenta – the wildest ingredients in beauty products

    cochineal dye or carmine
a cochineal is a tiny insect that produces a dye, also known as carmine. This dye is often used in food products (starbucks had a little pr nightmare about this recently) and makeup (mostly in lipsticks) for the red hue it creates.

    bird droppings
used by japanese geishas decades ago to help moisturize and whiten skin, bird poop - or uguisu no fun (powdered japanese nightingale droppings) - is now used in spas around the world and is also available in at-home creams and sprays. The natural enzymes found in the droppings help to elasticize and brighten skin, or so it's claimed.

don’t think so? Tom cruise, victoria beckham and anderson cooper have all reportedly tried it. The famous shizuka new york day spa in new york offers “the geisha facial” featuring this – err - unique product. Here's a clip of anderson cooper reluctantly trying out shizuka new york day spa’s facial cream.

    bee venom
bee venom is said to help plump the skin because it helps to increase blood flow to the area, and that process is said to produce collagen. Collagen helps the skin appear younger and it's said to help smooth out lines. Beauty and skin brand rodial recently introduced a line of bee venom products from moisturizers to eye-cream.

    placenta
yes, that stuff! Animal and plant placenta extract is used in body and hair products all over the world. Some research suggests the hormones (mostly estrogen) and protein found in placenta extract helps to condition and nourish skin and hair. However, the use of animal and human placenta in products has been greatly contested and debated. Celebrities like tyra banks have backed products like emk placental, which uses plant placenta extract, while products such as plazan and hask placenta are also gaining in popularity on the mainstream market.

it seems ironic that cholesterol, often thought of as a cause of health concern, is actually in products like creams, shampoo and makeup - products marketed to help us look healthier. The waxy-fatty substance found in human and animal tissue (as well as some plants) is used in products to help bond liquid and wax ingredients. It also helps to provide moisture to the skin to give it a smoother and softer appearance

    snake venom
similar to the effects of bee venom, snake venom extract makes the skin react as it naturally would to an actual bite, paralyzing the facial muscles. This of course acts the same way as botox does, by restricting movements that over time cause fine lines and wrinkles. The brand planet skincare offers a line containing snake venom saying it provides ‘botox-like’ results.

who knew whale waste could smell so good? Ambergis, produced in the digestive system of sperm whales, usually washes up on beaches and shores around the world in a hardened form. Scientists say each chunk of waste has a unique smell, which may (sort of) explain why fragrance makers around the world use it in their products to help blend its unique scent to other notes. The substance also helps fragrance stay on human skin. Big fashion houses like chanel, gucci and lanvin are known to use it in their products.

    breastmilk
people scoffed and laughed at kim kardashian (as they usually do), when she said she used sister kourtney’s breast milk as lotion to make her skin look smoother. It appears kim k. Is not the only one who believes in the power of breast milk. It's now being used in soaps (mostly home-made, but easily found online) thanks to the natural proteins found in breast milk. (if you’re picturing the soap-making assembly line in “fight club”, you’re not the only one.)

    fish scales
there’s a fair chance fish scales - otherwise known as “guanine” or ”ci 75170” - are on ingredient lists of your favourite bottle of nail polish or shampoo. Guanine has a pearly-type finish and is made from scraped off fish scales – yum! The substance adds that sheen to products and has been found in many polishes such as maybelline and sally hansen.

    foreskin
yes, foreskin is used in moisturizers and creams to help tone, tighten and brighten skin. It contains foreskin fibroblast that is filled with proteins and anti-oxidants. It's dubbed “human fibroblast conditioned media” on skincare brand skinmedica’s website. Oprah has spoken in favour of skinmedica, and was met with protesters in canada who are against its use.

Good question. Same could be said for birth control pills, cigarettes, and illegal drugs. Also add in bad eating habits as well as other things. There is also personal responsibility,so these thing could be avoided if one really wantso to avoid them.

    are they ?

if they are targeted by cosmetic companies, it's done with commercials and ads ( pictures, images ).

why would they be targeted more than any other women ?

to be acceptable to a white power structure in the work place -

to look, walk, and talk more like those in power -

after years and years of making these types of negroes though, the white hand can now be hidden -

these niggas got an obsession with turning everything and everyone white

english isn't needed - clear communications is wanted

illegal drugs and birth control pills got nothing on the poisons sprayed on to a people for the purpose of better controlling them or better yet, creating a reason to justify abusing them -

a people who are targeted with poisons for the mind and body are good at making life changing decisions ?

wouldn't you expect for a people who have been drugged with posions to continue poisoning themselves with whatever their masters are feeding them ?
