Good break. RZA used to loop a lot of breaks. Always thought his beats were good as whole, but never thought his drums were next level. Except for some stuff on 36 and Ironman.

Yup it's the same Carlos Bess. Here's a good thread about the mixing of 36 Chambers: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/rap-h...nter-36-a.html

As far as uploading the whole LP Ill see what I can do. Been real busy with work but I should have it up in a couple of days or so.

Calm down. I said RZA's beats are amazing as a whole. His drums didn't stand out. I was stating the obvious. As a beatmaker you should know that a lot of the great RZA beats had known breaks that he looped. On 36 Chambers he layered his drums with a clap over a snare and on Ironman he would be using multiple snares.

That's what initially made me buy 36 chambers back in 93. I was in the store listening to a few songs and those drums and bass were amazing. I did not hear any other producer do that before, so I bought it.

True, except for Pete's production on Mecca & The Soul Brother I don't think other producers layered their drums like that.

^ The break used on "Cold World" sounds familiar, but I don't know what it could be
