The Spinning Wheel break was used a lot as well, such as 7th Chamber ( both parts I believe).
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.
- Kurt Vonnegut
I listened to the drums and most of em are just old break beats replayed and chopped in some different way
"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)
RZAs drum patterns are usually basic but they are madly complex in how he layers his drum sounds. DL his drum app and you'll see what im talking about - he'll put like 3 barely audible sounds over a kick or snare so that you wouldnt be able to make out that specific sound over the snare, but it'll still make a big difference somehow. ill catch different sounds in a beat 10yrs later that i never noticed - his drums are next level in that aspect
