    Default Out of the Furnace

This movie kind of crept up out of nowhere and comes out next week. A lot of big names and seems like a different storyline. Hard to tell from the trailer if it's going to be good.

I wanna see this but i'll wait for it to come to video. Christian Bale has another new movie coming out December 18th called American Hustle with Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner. I'll wait for that to come to video also. Jennifer Lawrence is hot. Christian was good at playing a bad guy in Shaft with Samuel Jackson, Jeffrey Wright, Busta Rhymes.

saw this over the weekend, a lot of movie critic sites seem to rate it pretty well around 8/10 but I have no idea how

The first half of the movie had no plot, I wanted to walk out out of boredom
last 30 mins was the only parts I really enjoyed, and Woody Harrelson had the only redeeming performance

you see a lot of great actors involved with the film (which I was looking forward to as well) but most have very small roles except for Bale and Harrelson. 5/10.

I find that true with a lot of big name actors lately.

Robert De Niro comes to mind and been in very mediocre movies lately: The Family (Michelle Pfeiffer), Last Vegan (Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman). I actually liked Killing Season with John Travolta opposite.

The Red sequel and I imagine The Expandable 2 is terrible like the first one.

The Expendables 2 and The Family with Robert Deniro and Michelle Pfeiffer are good movies. Killing Season with Robert Deniro and John Travolta are also good.

Between watching "Boardwalk Empire" and "True Detective" I've developed some patience to appreciate character development and building a back-story. The cinematography throughout the movie is top notch and kept me into the movie until it finally picks up at the 45 minute mark. Unfortunately, nothing really happens after that to write home about.

The plot is too simplistic to make this film memorable. The ending was a complete let down. Woody Harrelson was great up until that point. I totally misjudged how they might tie the name of the film into it.

Madchild, you make it seem like Out Of The Furnace is boring and i wouldn't be surprised if it was. I'm gonna check it out today. I've been disappointed with movies before that sucked and the previews make the movie look good by showing the best scenes.
